Floor Trusses
Using Open-Web Floor Trusses from CBS can solve many floor framing issues. Floor trusses are versatile and can be designed and built from 12" to 24" tall and up to 40' in length. With the use of floor trusses, CBS designers can reduce the need for intermediate bearing walls, columns, or footings saving you time and money. Floor trusses are constructed of 2x4's which provide a 3-1/2" nailing surface and are designed with an open web configuration that leaves plenty of room for plumbing, mechanical, and electrical runs. Building with floor trusses produces a high quality custom floor system with fewer call backs, less materials waste, and reduced framing time.

CBS Placement Plan
CBS offers the Placement Plan to make your job easier. Designers at CBS will prepare a drawing for each component on every job. The plan is a layout drawing identifying the location for each roof truss, floor truss, wall panel, I-joist or LVL. Component Design Drawings include installation details, job information such as geometry, materials, load conditions, and other pertinent details for each project.
